How the letters were chosen
Jumpshot letters follow published mid-range gates and the release tests that separate Pro 1, Pro 3, Basic 1, and Set Shot from Basic 2 through Basic 5. Build letters follow a role: creation, two-way finishing, spacing, or post scoring. A higher letter is not a promise you will win the park.

S tier
Player decision Your main guard if mismatch creation matters more than a 99 three.
Player decision Equip this on any guard or wing that already has 75 mid-range and creates off the dribble.
Player decision The wing you bring when you must finish and stay in front. Pair with a shooter.
Player decision Use it only after the build actually reaches 85 mid-range. Below that, the slot is locked.
A tier
Player decision Pick Playmaking Stretch for screens and silver playmaking. Pick True Stretch if the builder gives you the shooting badges and you do not need the handle.
Player decision Keep it on slashers, bigs, and anyone who only shoots open catch-and-shoots.
Player decision Use when the team already has a lock and you only need the shot.
Player decision Spot-up stretches and catch-and-shoot wings. Not the fade jumper.
Player decision 2v2 post ups and rec glass. A bad fit if nobody else can handle the ball in space.
Player decision Pure iso speed. Add Precision Shooter if you need a jumper after the blow-by is scouted.
B tier
Player decision Only after you have the coins for speed 60 and a dribble package. Until then the 6'2" true shooter or 6'7" playmaker is more complete.
D tier
Player decision Stay on Basic 1 or a Pro jumper you have unlocked. Do not switch to these for style.
