First session
Before the first game ā Like the Roblox experience and join Playground Basketball | Community. Both steps are required before a code will redeem. Launch the game and stay on the menu long enough to open the gift box if you still have a code to enter.
Redeem what is actually active ā RECUPDATE and UPDATE8 were the codes confirmed for 4,500 Coins on October 26, 2026. Expired strings are listed separately.
Open the official game ā Use the Roblox page for this experience, place 18474291382.
Make one player ā Height decides the cap. If you want to dribble and shoot over people, start with the 6'7" true playmaker. If you want to dunk and lock, start with the 6'8" defending slasher. If you only want threes, start with the 6'2" true shooter. Save a second experiment for later; Extra Slots is optional.

Learn two inputs ā Turn on POV with a left-stick click. Then learn a hop-step finish and one escape. Do not start with a hellspin. The beginner video on the video page shows the hop step and the D-pad moves in order.
Controls ā Keyboard, controller, and touch maps, including the F-key conflict to check in game.
Dribbling ā Signatures and the ball-handle numbers that lock them.
Finishing ā Dunk, euro, jelly, and the white contest circle.
Play a full game ā Queue park or quick play and stay until the end. A quit-out still counts as a win and pays almost no rep, coins, or badge progress. Spin the city wheel once and clear the plaza quest for 500 Coins.

Is UPDATE7 active?
It is unresolved. Several code roundups still print UPDATE7 for 4,500 Coins, but an October 26, 2026 cross-check did not confirm it. It is not listed as active or expired here. The redeem result in your game is the authority. SEASON3 is listed as expired for 4,500 Coins because multiple roundups mark it expired, even though that same October 26 check called the status disputed.
How do I dunk?
Hold sprint to the rim and hold shoot or Triangle/Y. Tap shoot once before the finish for a hop step, or drive straight with no sideways tilt and tap shoot for a euro. If the gather circle stays white, the dunk is effectively uncontested.
What height should I pick?
6'0" and under buys speed and ball handle. 6'7" to 6'8" buys contests and either playmaking or a 99 driving dunk. 7'0" buys post scoring or stretch shooting. Weight trades speed for strength and screens.
Why did my rep barely move after a win?
Rep, coins, and badge points come from the box score of a finished game. If the opponent leaves early you can get the win and almost no progress. Blocks, rebounds, steals, points, and assists are the actions that move the bar.
